Addison Corn is tearing it up in her freshman season of varsity softball. She is up for the IndyStar softball player of the week again. Collectively, she had two doubles, one triple, and one HR, crossing the plate eight times for the Hornets as well as stealing four bases. Against Centerville, in the double header, she was 7/9, batting .777. She had a 3-run homer in the first game that assisted in clutching the win with a final score of 9-8. Seeing her throw her arms up in the air, celebrating around the bases, and then jumping on her team as she came home was absolutely the best part. She continued strong offensively in the second game and helped bring the momentum for the team.
